IE Problem! Help!?

Ok, well I was on the internet a while ago and without thinking I went onto a porn site.

When I went on it loads of pop ups came up of gay/straight porn...I x'd out of it, but for days they kept popping up, so I got a spy ware thing and then they stopped.

Now my Dad's friend who is a major computer geek is coming down to look at our computer/hard drive and clean it but he is going to see all the stuff!

I am so worried he will tell my dad and get the wrong idea I got sick twice thinking about it and cant stop crying over it.

What can I do, I cant stop worrying, im not even eating properly!

More than likely the anti spyware took care of it, but if you are wanting to clean up IE some more...go into the Tools menu and the Internet options.

IE7 - click on the advanced tab and then the reset button at the bottom to reset it back to mfr settings.

IE6 - on the general tab, click on delete cookies and then delete files (check the box for delete offline content also). When that is done, click the delete history at the bottom.

That should "clean" up the temps and history for it.

download ccleaner to delete completely temporary internet files

and virus/malware scan the pc.

ok ur not eating properly, and crying over being afraid of your dad seeing wat uve been up to, sorry but i cant help laugh at that, riteo first of all is do a search for all .jpg and .bmp files, and see wat comes up delete any porn

second of all goto run and type in %temp% press enter and delete everyhing,

3rd of all dont goto porn sites, as u have found out u get viruses and spyware from it, if u are really that lonely go buy magazines
he'll probably clear without even looking. In any case this is not uncommon, if you haven't got a decent pop up blocker and ad blocker. That is what stops all those annoying pop ups. If you want to do soemthing now, clear the internet history , it's in options%26gt;internet options%26gt;press delete cookies and the delete files button.

It may not get rid of everthing but it's a start.

If he honestly is a computer geek then he knows very well how they got there. He may teas you about watching porn but he should know exactly why they are there. Then again he might think your dad is the one. If you are there and one comes up and your father is there you can look surprised and say, Well dad I did not know you could still get it up.

It is nearly impossible to have a computer and not have some hidden porn on it. I do ot look for it but I do find it from time to time and have to get rid of it.

No need to be embarrassed about it. sex is part of life and we all eventually find out what it is about. How do you suppose you got here.
