I believe you have WinXP-SP2 Pro as O S. First you may unistall using Add/ Remove programs in Control Panel. You may succeed now as you start afresh after going thru the readme.txt that takes care of all your doubts/difficulties.
Each time I install IE 7 my system stalls or total lock up what is wrong with IE 7 I have install 3 x's?opera browser
Stop installing it. There are a lot of problems with IE7. People complain about it all the time. Just stick with IE6 or use Firefox.
