Ie 7 or mozilla firefox, which one is better ?

i love ie7 but my friends say that mozilla firefox 2 is better, well, gimme one single good reason why they say so !

For my experience, i can tell you that i find Mozilla Firefox is better than IE 7. Following are the parameters on which Firefox scores more points over IE7.

1. Speed :- Pages load faster in Firefox.

2. Looks:- It looks better than IE.

3. find:- This is really awesome in Mozilla firefox, i simply love it.

4. Plug ins :- u can have various skins and themes for firefox. Life becomes more enjoyable when u surf net after installing these themes and plugins.

5. Security:- I have heard that its more secure than IE7. but cant vouch for it.

but in some cases u may find some problem while working with firefox. some sites are designed only for IE, u may face some issues with firefox while visiting such pages. though the no of such sites are very less.

(also some serious work u cant do with mozilla firefox, e.g. Oracle Applications 11i does not support firefox)..

i also think so, tht mozilla firefox is better...the simple reason....mozilla poses less threats of viruses......most of virus are made keeping IE in mind. It does not means tht mozilla do not have any threat yah there is but its very low.
Its simple. SPEED. Mozilla FIrefox is much faster than IE 7. You would see web pages loading much faster than compared to ie 7. And its not a RAM hog like IE 7.
Well, IE 6 has been described as one of the most buggy, dangerous pieces of software ever made. However, I have read that IE 7 has far fewer problems. I say IE 7.
mozilla firefox is simpler,faster and way better
Firefox can be safer, they are still considered the little guy and less folks try to hack the browser.

However, forget visiting some of those corporate sites, like Microsoft.com, without using IE7.
i would prefer u firefox for fast browsing. also firefox is very easy to use. u can open new pages in tabs instead in different window. also find is pretty easy in firefox since it appears down without hiding the page unlike opera or explorer. also firefox is opensource project and u can carry further research on it if u like. remember firefox is opensource so there are minds of world in its development rather than few project people as in propriety software.
Mozilla Firefox is faster.
